The Secrets of Sumo Culture【¥7,000】

Join us as we explore the Japanese traditional culture of Sumo Wrestling. The sport of Sumo was originally created for the purpose of entertainment for the Shinto Gods. The martial art of Sumo Wrestling has been a part of Japanese history for over 1,500 years. We welcome travels to experience the life of the Sumo warrior first hand as we invite you to visit Sumo stables referred to as “heya” in Japanese. The Sumo stables house the Sumo and coaches that also doubles as a training gym for the wrestlers. We’ll also explore the inside of the Kokugikan Sumo Stadium and give you a tour of the Sumo museum.
